Nuestra Escuela

Nuestra Historia

La escuela “Corneta Cabrales” nace a la vida pública en el año 1952 con el nombre de Escuela Rural Nº 21. En el año 1988 por decreto Nº 123 se denomina Escuela “Corneta Cabrales” E-497 en honor al marino y corneta de la Esmeralda quien fue parte importante delgrupo de chilenos heroicos que dieron su vida aquél 21 de mayo de 1879. El joven clarín encarna la personalidad, actitud y valores que esta escuela procura en la formación de sus estudiantes.
La escuela cuenta con dos cursos por nivel desde pre- kínder a 8° año básico, donde el promedio de estudiantes por curso es de 28 estudiantes, actualmente año 2020 nuestra escuela ha tenido un aumento significativo en su matrícula, con estudiantes que no pertenecen precisamente al sector de las Canchas, sino a los sectores y cerros colindantes. Principalmente el motivo de su preferencia es que nuestra escuela se destaca por mantener un buen trato.
